Pier at Dawn

On the morning of March 19, 2024, the rising sun aligned perfectly with the St. Johns County Pier at St. Augustine Beach. Before the shoreline was reshaped by replenishment, the pier stood fully suspended above the ocean, its pilings casting long shadows in golden light. This image preserves a fleeting harmony of nature and structure — a moment when tide, time, and light converged in perfect balance, inviting the viewer into the quiet power of dawn.
